I just got my pacmate qx400 a couple days ago, and first of all I'm looking for a wireless router for it, but I'm not sure what to get. I've always heard a Linkses router is one of the best to get, so I checked that out online only to find out they only have about a hundred or so to choose from that I know nothing about or what they do, so I went to the pacmategear website only to find the following.
LINKSYS 802.11B WLAN CARD
If anyone could give me some feedback on that, or if you have any idea as to what I should look for, I'd really appreciate it. My second question, is How do you get help with a set of scripts once you've installed them, because I've noticed it doesn't seem to read any of that the way Jaws does with a standard PC, and I can't figure out how to use the program I just installed.
I have no clue what a wireless router is. And I never used scripts on the pacmate. Sorry can't be of help.
Any of the ones on the pacmategear website can probably work with th epacmate since they are tehre so get whichever you want. Personally I would get the sandisc one wsince it has flash memory on it so you can store documents and such there but that might not be that good since it might skimp on range or something like that. Scripts usually come with documentation no? If not try the layered commands that they have with the questionmark (I have a bx so I don't know how to do that with the qwerty) or just ask the creater. A router is something that actually gives you a wireless connection for instance you might hook up your cable/dsl modem to the internet/wan port on a router and it will broadcast that as a wireless signle for your wireless compatible things to read.
